Hi there everyone,

Geoff here, thanks for letting me join this forum. I am fairly new to photoshop. I have it in mind to draw a diagram of the car park/parking lot at work. It involves my having to draw rectangle and set them at an angle.

What I would like to know is: 'How do I turn the rectangle to the desired angle?'

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Geoff

Hey welcome to the forum Geoff.

To turn the rectangle to the desired angle try...

Edit > Transform (or Transform Path) > Perspective (or Distort)

Then click on the small square in the middle of the edges.

You can also try...

Edit > Transform (or Transform Path) > Rotate

Using the small squares on the corners to rotate the rectangle.

hi,
Auieos replyvery good should work well for you... but i was thinking that your real new.. so if you already know this forgive me...

once you selected transform..... you'll notice the little boxes we call them handles...

when you move your cursor around the corner handles....
you'll get eithe double arrow diagnal symbol or a curve double arrow....
when you get the curve double arrow you can then click and turn to your heart desire...

Thanks Auieos and Jerryb for that, worked a treat.
