I am having difficulty in color managing images scanned in Silverfast Ai. When the image is opened in Photoshop the histograms created in the 2 programs do not match resulting in distorted color. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I don't use that software but if it's color managed, make certain you are using the same color space on both programs.

Thank you for responding. How do you know that you are using the same color space?

As I said I don't know the software you are using but it is likely embedding a color profile in the image and PS is not using it. Try this:

Go to Edit, Color Settings and set PS to preserve the embedded profiles.
