Hi,
I need a logo for the new website I'm developing, codehelp.com. This website will be a resource for software developers to help them with their source code.
I'm willing to pay $100 for the logo (payment via paypal). Please reply to this thread with a sample of your work. I will make my decision on May 31, 2009.
Here is what I'm looking for:
1. The text "codehelp" all one word, all lowercase and on a white background.
2. Incorporate the question mark icon (see attachment) as the "o" in "codehelp" (see attachment).
3. The text should be in dark blue to match the question mark icon.
4. Make the text 3D to match the 3D effect on the question mark icon.
5. Add highlights and curvature to the text similar to the Google logo (see attachment).
6. Place a light shadow behind the text similar to the Google logo (see attachment).
7. Place a slight reflection in front of the text similar to the user icon (see attachment).
The seven items I listed above is what I have in mind and what will really appeal to me, however if you want to be creative, feel free to do so, just keep in mind, I like "clean" and "simple" designs. To get inspired check out the graphics and icons from this company. These are the type of graphics that appeal to me.
Feel free to submit more then one design!!

I've been working with photoshop since it was first created. I do photoshop work professionally and on the side in my spare time and I'd be more than happy to assist you in finishing this to your exact specifications. My specialty is making logos such as the one you described.

Here are a few thoughts, again great job and all of you guys are definitely on the right track!!
- I like the style of font that ICEwave is using. Can we try a few fonts similar to this?
- I like how crisp/sharp/bright MrPhotoXpert's logo looks.
- I don't need the ".com" as part of the logo, but it was certainly a nice thought.
- I think the "p" is getting in the way of the reflection. ICEwave, I like how you got creative and moved the "p" up, but I want to make sure all the letters are the same size and position.
- ICEwave, on your last logo, can you drop the shadow just a hint more (i.e. bring the shadow down and to the right just a bit more so it's more noticeable)?
- How about this? Can you guys post one logo with the reflection and one without?
