I dont have one and i get by fine, thats all i can say, i wouldnt imagine a drawing tablet would be easier to cut people out with, as your editing a tablet, which then edits the screen, rather than using the mouse, which edits where u point with the mouse, like the screen, just u see what you doing easier in my opinion, i would say dont get one, but some people who do have them might say different _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

More natural yes, but as tablets dont have screens, just sensor pads (in most cases anyway) you have to look on the tablet and at the screen at the same time, and what your doing on the tablet, might not do what you think its doing on the pc itself _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk
Tablets are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, almost. I love my tablet that I have at work (i use a mouse at home). I'm not even a little bit artistic, but if you are, then I'd highly recomend using a tablet. You don't look at the pen or tablet when you're using it any more than you look at the mouse or mousepad. It's all hand eye coordination, which I have none of, so if I can do it, then anyone can! Check out Wacom.com, as they are the industry leaders for tablets. I had a cheap one and ended up returning it because it sucked. Wacom tablets are pressure sensitive, and are designed to work with Photoshop. The only problem that I had with my tablet was that it kept sticking when I clicked the tablet, but I turned off "Double Click Assist", and it solved the problem. Whatr kind of stuff do you do with your tablet? I am debating on getting one.
for cutting out a few people, I wouldn't bother. I know someone who does paintings with a tablet. For painting, a tablet is definately the way to go. However, don't count on it being "natural" You won't pick up the stylus and be drawing as well as you do with a pencil. It'll take some time to get used to the feel.
