Hey,

I created an image in photoshop, saved it as usual but it will only open if I go to the 'open recent' tab, I now have a big problem as it's gone from the list as I've open more than the list can involve.I've tried to open the file in the other ways but its not working, if i double click on the file and go to the web to see how i can open it it tell me to download regcure, which i have done but it hasn't helped.can anyone please help me!

Sammi

Sounds to me like you inadvertantly named the file with an extension that photoshop is unfamiliar with. For example .... imagename.psf instead of imagename.psd.

Otherwise, I don't think you would have been given the option to Go to Web to search for a program. Verify the extension. If it's wrong, change it to what it is supposed to be.

In windows explorer, browse to the location of the file. Once there, if you cannot see the extension (by default you cannot), then go to Tools>Folder Options. Click the View tab. Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". Click Apply.

Hope it helps,
Dave
