Following on from my tabs thread, I have finished my website for so far. Just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback from the site, thanks;

It's slick but perhaps a little too slick. The old adage of too many clicks is still valid. There's no point asking users to click a link only to say click this link to view. I would also be tempted to change your choice of implementation (code wise).

After seemingly assassinating it, I do think there are lots of positives, as mentioned the design is 'slick' and it's got a certain gravitas that beckons users. I would revert to the text only rather than the buttons, navigation, but that is just stylistic. You are however one click away from success ;)

Hi Speakers,

I think as a portfolio site it works well, as thehermit writes, its very slick and attractive.

A couple of things jump out at me, firstly the galleries are fun but ideally I'd like to see an option to view them the images normally. This would give me the chance to explore them without a slight touch of the mouse moving the entire image. Definitely stylish though.

Secondly, I couldn't seem to see a button that sent me back to the previous page once I'd opened the galleries, I had to rely on my browsers back button which took me a few seconds to figure out.

Finally, the font colour was slightly too grey (maybe slightly too similar to the background) and the standard blue text link took an edge off the 'slick' appeal.

All in all though, I like it, and is definitely something different that I can tell a lot of effort has gone into.

Hope that helps

I like it. Clean, quick, and nothing overly complex that your client will want duped for his or her webpage :)

Hi guys, I've made some changes and taken quite a few of the things you have said into consideration. Any better? www.mjsvisual.com

Hi Speakers,

Although I liked the previous galleries you used, I have to say the current ones are far more practical. Looking good my friend!

Working on it MRN, I felt it looked a bit bland before so I have added some red into the background. Was trying to sort out rollover buttons but I seem to have failed at any attempt I have given that.

Thanks very much Matt :)

I don't like the red.
