something must have changed because it didn't do this before. Now when I create a new blank file and I add text it is pixelated. How do I fix this?

Is your Aliasing set to "none"? If it is, with the text tool selected, use the pulldown and choose another aliasing method. If that isn't the problem, report back. Someone else will have to know what to do.

Regards,
Dave

Thanks Dave. That wasn't the issue but with looking into that it led me through a bunch of different things that got me what I needed to fix it. Believe it or not, it was actually the resolution setting...can't believe I didn't catch on sooner. Thanks anyway.

Regards and Thanks!
