This one is problably so simple that you will all laugh at me, but I am having trouble importing a picture into the logo document I am working on. I am designing a logo for a roofing co. and following a logo tutorial on garysimon.net website on 'how to make an awesome logo' using photoshop cs2, but when I follow his steps for importing a picture into the logo document that I am working on, it will import it to a new document screen. From what I can tell by reading his tutorial, it should import it into the same document screen that I already have the company name on so I can create layers and work on the one screen. Am I misunderstanding, or is it just not working like he says it should? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hi,
I am not laughing... i am still learning myself all the different ways to do things.. i have cs1 but this wil/should work with cs2 ...

I haven't look at that tutorial yet to see what there saying ... but one sure way to import that picture into your logo project...
1. have both pictures opened in photoshop
2. go to the ijmported picture and select all
3. then copy......
4. then switch to your project and do a paste.... the imported picture will automatically be put in it own layer of the project ...

another meathod, again both pictures are open in photoshop
1. click your move tool
2. then click and drage the imported picture to your project picture,
3. again it will be put into it own layer....

with cs2 there maybe/probably another 1 or 2 ways of doing it...

i hope this helps and hopefully the experts be able to tell maybe better ways to do it
