I doubt that those older versions are compatable with Windows 7. You might try to install it under compatabilty mode for XP and see what happens.
Failing success, you could download and install CS5 from the Adobe site. You can use it for 30 days for free. |

Welcome to the forums ads7, just to clarify, do you have version 6 of Photoshop? The link I post clarifies that you should be able to run version 4 up. I do note however that it runs only in 32bit, perhaps being a 64bit OS this is partly the conflict.

To be honest I'm a little fuzzy on RAW and the like (don't quote me) but I thought that RAW was only brought in at version 7. If there are equivalents in earlier versions please excuse me, or if HDR can be done pre-RAW. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

You'll need other software for HDR and tone mapping, I don't think PS incorporated it until CS2. Photomatix is the most popular stand alone software, there are others, some even free. Google and check it out. |

I have yesterday got a 30 day trail of Photoshop and a 30 day trial of Topaz.
Photoshop works fine and runs ok but I can not add the topaz plug in to it does any one know if this is possible? I would presume it was other wise what’s the point of a trial??

Yes it should run. The trial is fully functional and is restricted in no way other than the thirty day limit. Make sure you restart PS after you do the Topaz install. |

Ha still no joy Its a good job I shave my head coz I would have no hair left by now!! I have followed all the instructions how to install etc and it just won't open so I am beat and I give up! Its a shame as I have used it before in the past with some fantastic results so its back to my painting instead I think! As for the photograhpy adjusting there is no hope!! So much for having a new Comp!
Thanks any way.
