I need help in reinstalling Photoshop CS (8.0) upgrade, which Adobe says it no longer supports. I have a new computer running Vista 64-bit. 3-5 years ago when I upgraded to 8.0 from 4.0 on my old computer, I had to call Adobe, because the instructions said the upgrade was good only for 5.0 or higher. (It didn't say that on the box.) The tech said 5.0 was an arbitrary point and he gave me instructions, including a number, to get it to install. The upgrade went flawlessly. I kept those instructions till this past summer when I painted and cleaned my office. I figured I didn't need it 'cause I could always call Adobe and get it. Big mistake! I'm hoping someone was smarter than me and did the same upgrade but had the wisdom to hold onto the instructions. If not, I'll have to fork over $200 or so for an upgrade to CS4. I hope someone out there can help. BTW, I'm new to the forum and it's really quite instructional. |
