I think that I've almost got it.

I can't link to the tutorial by skwerl grrl because the figure may or may not be nude.

Those steps you posted in your 2nd post weren't part of the 1st tutorial, at least I don't remember them.

That first tutorial in your 3rd post was really annoying with the clicking but it's what I ...

Using the maglot tutorial I've been doing this...

1. Windows> Channels

2. Select Blue> Click and drag to new layer

3. Round dotted icon at the bottom

I've been following this and another youtube video meticulously to separate the ink and start coloring on layers, but it won't let me paint then.
