My computer crashed and I lost Photoshop 3; I didn’t use it much but I knew it well. I was asked if I wanted Photoshop (the full version) for Christmas and I’m not sure I would be able to understand it. I think I would have trouble understanding the latest version of Elements. I am planning on editing many photos as I have a new 2 week old granddaughter so I need a program fast. Any thoughts on this; I’ve played with Photoshop last night and didn’t understand much but I only grazed over it. I have access to the computer that has Photoshop and I’ll play around again tonight. Are there any tips and tricks for beginners or do beginners start at Elements? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Most average users will find that Elements will do as much, and likely more, than they need for editing photos. |

If you are serious about learning or progressing in advanced editing use CS, if you are dabbling use Elements. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
