I am using photoshop 7, and am trying to change the colour of the words in a logo from Black to Light Blue.

The problem is that some pixels from the shadow are are grey, not exactly black. How do I colour them such that the completely black pixels are light blue, and the lighter grey pixels are a lighter shade of Blue. so the image seems uniform in colour range and appears more natural.

Please advice how to do this in Photoshop 7. Thanks.
