This loaded up nice and quick for me. Of course, I'm on cable. I really like the atari/nes sound effects that go along with it. The layout is straight to the point, but that's always good any ways. I was just hoping that when you clicked a thumb it would show up in the upper window rather then a new window. Nice work with flash though.

It looks nice for a flash site.

One of the things I hate most in any websites is sound effects. It's horribly disturbing.
Your forum doesn't work.

I don't really like sound effects either, but yours are so nostalgic and old school that I love them. The intro is a little long as well, and there is no information on the beginning page. Neat idea though.

It's alright. a few things though

1) To simple and one color. Without any content it's just boring. It needs either actual text content or more design content.

2) Text can be hard to read at times because it's so small

3) Sounds can get annoying QUICK

Thats all, It looks pretty nice but can be made better. Stay away from the sounds when doing sites like that, it just detracts from everything.

well i think anyone worth their salt knows basic web design rules when it comes to sound and music
this site was made to demonstrate how basic action script can be used.
I try to teach that basic knowledge of a program used judiciously can do a lot.
Like i said I generally avoid flash if i can help it.

personally unless it has a very specific purpose, i think a simple design works best, im sure many of you have noticed in the last few years the rise of home taught "designers" and the proliferation of "extreme" graphics

KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid

I totally agree gecko. Part of the art of web design is making your navigation and layout flow and load efficiently while looking good at the same time.
