Made album covers for my friends band. THen I found out he wanted a Medieval look....yeah, trash these, but, please review.

First off I am not a fan of bevel and emboss unless it flows nicely with the art...That being said on the second one, I love the clean lines and the sharpness but feel the text cheapens it....
On the first I guess I don't understand why you chose that particular paint brush and randomly painted all over the picture...It puzzels me, and again I just don't feel the text flows with it at all. I'm sorry.
