Anytime I try to cutout a piece of an image and paste it into another image, the final result always turns out bad. It looks exactly like what it is...a cutout pasted onto another image.

Are there any good tips or tutorials on what to do to an image cutout to make it blend more seamlessly into another image?

Thanks.

hi,
what I do... when I select the object to cutout... I will set my feather to about 1- 5 pixals .... that way you don't have that too sharp of edge which always a give away that it pasted....

another meathod i use is once pasted create a layer mask
select brush ( small diameter) adjust the opacity and flow,,, ow numbers and just brush over the eddge to eliminate the sharpness ....

the one problem i have is sometimes, depending on the picture,,,, matching the tonal quality of the cutout with the main image.. still working on that...
