Turn a paint job into a flat black color?
I have this photo... and am trying to turn it from this...
to a paint job like this...

New paintwork from scratch using brushes, not easy.
You could always try something like the following, I came up with it and I think its sounds to complicated to be a good technique...
Pen tool selections, each individual panel, leaving the gaps between doors etc. Blur the paintwork to remove the gloss, any definition encompassed by the selection will be lost so be careful how much u select at a time. and after that it will need darkening/deepening of colours because it will look to bright and white. Probably would need softening of some edges unless you have been really careful with refine options.

Yo, it's not that simple, the car is too shiny for this and also the lighting of the car is different, no matter how much you try you might not get it spot on..
