I'm trying to resize .png files. Im using actions to resize a folder of around 200 .png files. The problem is when I use automate/batch the action works for about the first 2/3 of the files and then tries saving as a .PSD therebye halting the batch process. The way my action is set up there is no 'save as .psd' and the process works for the first 150 images and then craps out. I've tried moving the remaining files to another folder and repeating the process but its as if PS remembers the files and instantly tries saving a .psd and stoping the batch.

Is this a PS bug? Please help.

I've tried this with both PS 6 and PS 7 and I get the same result. I'm running windows 2K.

Odd problem. Do you have a step in your action that saves as png?

Have you tried just telling the batch to save and close instead of saving as new files?
