I have a plug-in that does a kinda overall correction and need to do it in batches. The problem is, when I go to make the action, I have to have an image open to open the plug-in. That's OK, but whenever I've done that, then go to Automate>Batch and select input and output folders, it uses the same image over and over.

I know that may be a painfully easy question to answer for some (many?) of you but I really have searched high and low for an answer.

Thanks in advance.....

I am able to create actions that manipulate plugins and batch properly. The only problem I've had is that I had to go back and add a SAVE AS step to the action and click OVERRIDE SAVE AS dialog in the Batch settings.

When you record your action, make sure you image is already open and ready. When you run the Batch script, it pulls files from the selected folder and then performs the instructions in the action, then it saves the files and closes them. You can suppress the Batch 'open' and 'save as' commands and allow the Action to do it, but I try not to.

What plugin are you using? Maybe it targets your image in some way different from the plugins I use.
