Hi,

I'm almost finished with an artwork but now I just want to put in a suitable background, in this case a nice scenery of dawn. I copied that pic to my drawing layers but it kind of gets flown over making the original layer where I put in the colors dark and well. Kind of transparent. I tried reducing the opacity but this makes the background whiter... which kinda looks nasty.

I use Photoshop 7 and Elements.

My layers are as follow:
-colors, set as multiply
-ink, set as normal
-background, set as normal

Please help, how do I manage to solve this? Confused

Thanks in advance.

It would help greatly if you could post pictures illustrating your problem. I am not sure, it sounds a little like you want to flatten your blend layers into a seperate layer, they won't be editable anymore but that doesnt seem to be important to you as you are trying to amalgamate the 2.
