Hello everybody,

There is a strange problem I have to deal with on Photoshop CS6:

Suddenly all black colour turned into dark green. Any other colors look just as they should. After a long search I found out that any other Abobe application installed on this PC (Illustrator, Reader, Bridge) comes up with the same bug.

The file is ok since on the same Notebook it shows just fine the black color in other applications like Corel, Picasa, Windows Viewer.

I've been trying to fix it by updating the graphics card drivers, uninstalling all Abobe apps including their preferences and installed on purpose an older Photoshop CS2 but the problem still remains.

Is there any way to fix this without restoring the OS ?

Thanks for reading.

Could you please go in detail to explain what you mean by colour space ?

I must add that the problem does not affect just a certain file but all since black is missing on all colour palettes.

Further on since I have uninstalled CS6 and installed CS2, Image Ready shows up black fine, CS2 itself not.

CMYK, RGB, sRGB, LAB, HSB, that's what I meant by colour space. Or is it a PSD?

Does this happen across all files and not just one.

I would at this stage be tempted to ask for a few screenshots of your file info and PS setup, palettes.
