Hello,
I’m looking for a way to automate basic color adjustments I make on every photo I edit using the curves adjustment tool.
Currently, I usually find and mark the black and white points with a threshold mask manually, and then set these parameters in curves, and finally tweak it a little more by eyesight. Making these adjustments (aside of sharpen, straightening and cropping) on multiple photos is quite arduous.
Is it possible to automate that process? I.e. have a script / macro that will at least extract the white/black point position from an image, insert them into curves and will leave me with the dialogue open after integrating that data in the tool, so all I’ll have to do is just tweak it manually, as I like, and just press ok?

I only have very basic knowledge in scripting, and almost non in integrating complex calculations into photoshop.

Any help / advice / explanation will be greatly appreciated

I currently use CS4

Thanks in advance,

Assaf
