http://www.adazing.com/free-book-mock-up/

I downloaded these free PS book mock-ups. I have Photoshop CC 2015.

It uses layers to make it simple to put the book cover I want into each image - ok. I'm used to Coreldraw more than PS, so this is why I am having problems.

So, for example, Mockup #1 has a layer which is the entire cover
of the book. I 2x click on it and open this layer in a new tab.

I know I can't edit it, but how do I simply replace the image with a JPG/PNG of my own?

So real-book-01.psd has 2 groups:

1) Edit Cover
2) Book

Under EDIT COVER it has a layer of the entire book image. I thought I could simply cut & paste a JPG in there to replace it and it would work. But I can't. I can't seem to figure it out. Frustrating. I know this must be very basic.

Figured it out...using the PLACE - Embedded command, and then saving. It has now updated. Whew! Disregard question for now.
