Yes, I am a newbie! So, coming on board with questions, of course! I am trying to understand brushes, but when I open my brushes the box appears in a gray scale. I have searched the internet for help, to no avail. What's the trick? Why can't I access my feature?? Thanks to the photoshop whiz who can help me! I appreciate it! _________________ Never too old to learn! |

If you have a greyscale open, you won't have colored brushes. Go to Image-Mode and set it to RGB color. |

Hi Hawkeye,
Thanks a lot for the reply! I went to the settings per your instructions, but RGB is selected. I wish I could send a screen shot that I took but I can't get it to attach. When I open "brushes" the entire box is gray, thus I can't do anything. Karen _________________ Never too old to learn! |

Are the brushes showing up in the drop down window at all? If not they just weren't placed in the Brush folder in your program file. Otherwise, I'm no help because I've never heard of this..
The only other thing that comes to mind is that they display in gray scale, but when you use them you just select the color you want them to be in the color palette and they become that color when used.. |
