Brushes problem, new to photoshop

i just downloaded some brushes and put them into the brushes folder like i believe i am supposed to. problem is whenever i try to add new brushes(put them in the folder) photoshop will nt launch when i open it. am i doing something wrong? it will launch after i restart but then thwe brushes dont show up.

make sure that the brushes you have are save at this path C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes after that open your photoshop and load your new brushes to the brush preset
