What kind of file is it, and why do you need it 200 kb? Did you try zipping it or do you need it to be a viewable 200 kb file?

well its a gif file so i dont know why its taking up so much space.
how do i upload it to a host? that might work better

Normally ftp is the way, except when the provider has some extras installed.

Ftp: you'll need a ftp-uploader (like Cute FTP) to put your file on a server. This will give you the opportunity to link to it.

im registered on www.1asphost.com they are completly free and u get 100 MB of space and you can upload any file type as well.

lol Big Grin theres no point in compressing it because by the time u have it down to that size you wont be able to see any of it unless u fancy payin' around £100 for a decent compressor... Cool

viewable quality, you should be able to get any picture well under 200k, prin tedit quality, is a different story. trying using jpeg. and resizin gteh picture

Newest Winzip does quite a job of compressing.
