I am in the market for a new iMac. I plan on purchasing photoshop CS4 to run on the new machine. The software lists the minimum hardware requirements, but I was hoping someone could suggest the specs I should load up on (RAM, video card, etc?) in order to make the program really fly.
Specifically, I am looking for speed when flipping the canvas on large, multi-layered documents, saving large documents, smudging and painting with large brushes, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and specifics would be most helpful.
