can I install photoshop CS2 nd CS3 on the same pc

I run windows, and I wan't to have photoshop cs2 and cs3 installed on the same pc and same session, 'cause cs2 opens images a lot faster than cs3 and cs3 has some really good features also.

can anyone help please?

I'm not sure what good an image opened in CS2 is going to do you in CS3. Good idea though.

Well like I said, I agree with your initial post in the thread - I wouldn't generally recommend two versions of Photoshop on the same machine however there are occasions when it can be useful.

Say I have CS3 on my home PC for personal use as well as for freelance projects. My day-job workplace has an older version. In that situation I may use CS3 at home for a freelance project I'm working on, but then switch to CS2 to work with projects that I know I can only finish in CS2. It would be easier than trying to remember what features are available in the different versions.

I do totally agree with you though, generally you only ever need one version of PS installed at a time. It's also cheaper to buy the upgrade!

It sounded like the original poster was trying to open a picture in CS2 and work on it in CS3.
