A Newbie here!
I have created a graphic that I want to use in a website, I want to put the graphic on the edge of the website and give it a smooth edge and probably with a roll off edge to give it some form of thickness. When I stack the graphic on top of each other it will give a long wavy edge. I have already had a go in PaintshopPro5 but it is a little pixillated. I started to try in Photoshop Elements V5.0 but was a little lost. I gather that you can gaussian blur the edge and then call it back into a sharper edge - Perhaps someone could help with this?
The effect was to be so that the left edge of the website was showing a wavy edge the text menu over while the right hand edge of the graphic was transparent (gif) so that any background colour would show through.
If anyone can help with either pointing me to a tutorial or at least telling me the steps to take - I would be most grateful.
I have included the rough pixillated gif I have tried so far but without much success.
