hi
i always see this sort of pics where the whole image has like a softness effect to it
but i dunno how to achieve this effect
however i have a good knowledge of photoshop and lightroom and would appreciate it if you guide me through the main steps needed for this look
here's the pics i wanna replicate it's effect

It would be more helpful if you post your image, I can see the tones on this image, but I can't help unless I see where you start from.

I think what thehermit meant was posting a picture you would apply the curtain effect to, as the steps will vary on properties of the picture you want to apply the effect to.

Thanks Rarity :) It was what I meant. I could guess at a limited colour palette on the second image and not quote true blacks in the first image, but.....

may i ask u guys that if any of u has a raw file that is similar to these to upload it for me to edit and see if i can come up with the same results?
