Im close to clueless about layers.
Tryed to follow some tutorials from "photostar" (not the right spelling) and the dude dosent write for noobs and he dosent help ya out, he seems more apt at selling adds on his website.
Well after trying to this tutortail a few weeks ago, I told myself Id find a PS forum.
I will re-try that tutorail and start a thread with questions about the project. Im just wanting to find that friendly PS forum that want to help out a noob?
here is the tutorial:

I'd suggest learning the basics before you do anything else. Then perhaps the tutorials will make more sense to you. Most tutorials will assume you have at least a basic or sometimes above basic knowledge of PS.
You have to walk before you run. Look in your local library for a book on PS. It really doesn't matter what version, a book on any version PS will help you learn the basics. |

What do you not understand about layers. When I first started Photoshop I had no idea on how layers worked. Images would vanish for no apparent reason. Layers are the first thing to understand.
I'm a newbie on this too (two years only)so might be able to give some clear instructions from one newbie to another.
