hi there!!

i seem to have a problem and its stressing me out!

ever since i did a project in photoshop the colors seem to have gone wrong!!i type out a text and i can either have it black or white,no other colors seem to come through no matter what color i click on!
any idea???! Confused

Are you in quick mask mode? Pressing the letter "Q" on the keyboard will toggle this on and off. If you're in quick mask mode your text will only appear black white or gray.

You most likely working in a grayscale profile for your canvas. Go to IMAGE>MODE>and change your mode to RGB.

Sometimes, when you create a new canvas, photoshop sets your color mode to grayscale by default, which is very strange. It's good to take a second look when making a new canvas

If the text is the only thing malfunctioning it may be quick mask mode. If everything about the image is malfunctioning it's probably in grayscale like Sublimity suggested.
