Color mismatch when saving for web CS3...

I'm using the Adobe RGB Proof (tested all of the built in ones, this is the most 'web accurate') and my colors are all a bit muted...

See the image below to see what I mean.

Anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Hmph. Upon closer inspection, this also works itself into Windows Photo Gallery...

For example, if I save this square and view it in IE, it appears a bright vibrant red. If I view the image outside of an IE window, it is muted.

Thoughts?

Hi gbombay,

Have you tried going to Edit > Colour Setting > More Options > Advanced Controls > and making sure both options are unchecked?
