Hi

I'm trying to use the color replacement tool to fix red eye.

I have chosen black as the foreground color, but when I click on the photo, it paints light blue.

anyone know why this is?

Cheers

Shaun

HI Shaun, It's the blending mode..see where it says "mode" at the top left of the screen. You could try changing it to "luminosity" if you really want to paint black, but why not use the "Red Eye tool" hiding behing the "Spot Healing Tool" ? With this you just draw out a rectangle with your mouse over the general area of the eye and the red eye will just disappear.
Cheers, vampirelover.
