Hi,
New here at the forums and somewhat to the world of Photoshop too. Are there any function in CS4 that will take a image and divide it into smaller images that together makes up the whole picture. See example below.

Thanks,

Jonas

You might search and find an action that will do that.

Or you can use the slice tool. Select the slice tool and right click the image, select Divide Slice then use the dialog box to make as many slices as you wish. Use Save for web, and PS will put the slices will be in an image folder.

You can open the slices separately and add them to a new canvas to duplicate what you linked to.

Thanks! I will give it a try.

Any tips on what to search for when it comes to this? I tried a few searches with no luck.

Not really, there are free actions available so it's possible you might find something. But the instructions for the slice tool I gave you will work just fine too.
