Converting PMS colors into RGB in PSD format for Photoshop

Hey guys,

I'm working on a file for work and I'm trying to match up a Pantone color ( Pantone 348C) in photoshop for a PSD file using RGB settings. There any programs out there that might help me convert the color into Photoshop so I know the RGB settings to use to get the exact color? Thanks a lot.

You need to get hold of some colour process books from Pantone, the bad thing is they are expensive (although useful if you goto print a lot).

Best bet if you want a fast result is to go to your local printers, they are bound to have a few books lying around and would be happy to tell you.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but if you open the color picker in photoshop and click on the custom button, you have the option to choose pantone colors. You color is under PANTONE solid coated. Your color 348C is a like a mid green right? That's a pretty common green used in printing. Anyway, if you select that pantone color and then click on the picker button it will give you all the specs for that color. Your RGB conversion should be

R: 0
G: 126
B: 58
