Creating a clockwise arrow

Is it possible by using photoshop to create a similar arrow to the one below but one that has a transparent background so i can place the arrow on top of another picture and only the arrow is there and no background.

Ideally the arrow will be slightly bigger in length than the one below but very similar. I am sure it should be possible but not sure how i start off doing it.

You can make the arrow with the pentool...see not so good sample attached) anyway just place the arrow with the white background over the image you want it to appear on and change the color mode to darken or multiply.
You can also do it with your arrow.
