Could somebody please explain to me or show me where I can learn about Actions

An action is a series of commands that can be recorded and "replayed" whenever necessary. An action can do all sorts of things. All you have to do is open the Actions palette and press the record button. Now, most things you do will be recorded by Photoshop--filters, layer duplication, stuff like that. Press stop once you're done. Now if you select that action and press play, the exact same things will happen again.

That could come in handy. I'm always doing different things and I always forget what I did and how I did.
