Hi,

I am a newbie to photoshop. I want to know in which font the attached logo is made of. I need to make more logos of the same in different colors.

Ther are so many fonts in photoshop that I dont know hoe to familiarise with them, except to typr out text in each of them which is very time consuming.

Please also let me know how I can experiment with different shades of colors.

Thanks
Ramya

well it will be hard to go through each font until you find it but you will only have to do it once

crtl-u
for diff colors

or image - adjustments,
colors is one i think and there might be others to play with

The font is called Park Avenue, it is not a free font.

thank u very much. Can I just change the colors for the Park Avenue font and use the image.

Like can I change the background and the font color and use the image. I did change the bground color, but the font color also changed and the edges were not smooth.

You'll need to remake it in photoshop to do what you want. It would be very difficult to change only the font color without a layered file.

So open that image in photoshop and overlay some new text on top of the old image (just sort of use the old one as a template). Your options with color also greatly increase when you are working with vector text layers.

If you don't want to purchase the font you are left with two options. 1) Trace the image with the pen tool and then tidy up to produce just the characters you need. 2) Adjust the colour with any of the selection methods (colour range, hue/sat etc).
