Does anyone have any suggestions for the layout of our forums? Which forums we should start with, etc.

Looking for some ideas to craft my own from.

Thanks.

How about the easy stuff...

Perhaps a "Community Center" type thing with "Introductions", "General Chat", etc. Also, forums for suggestions, comments, help, and stuff like that. :)

Ok, I'm just going to throw out ideas:

PS Tennis / PS Battle / PS Competitions
something like Worth1000.com, photo editing competitions
Beginner's Forum
Photo Touchup
Photo Manipulation
Web Design - logo, templates, websites, etc.
Galleries/Showcases
a Trading Post type forum
Techniques and Tutorials

Photoshop Tutorials (how to do X in Photoshop)
Photoshop Actions (perhaps exchanges, show off new actions you've made, etc.)
Photoshop Brushes (exchanges, how to make them..so on)

Rather than a Trading Post, I'd like to see an area for paid work/commissions. Maybe X% could go back to work referred from PhotoshopForums.

Just some thoughts!

Hey Patrick,

What about a "news" forum, i.e. what's happening in the world of Photoshop. That can contain stuff like announcements of major releases by adobe or by other compannies relating to photoshop.

Got a question as I am not well versed in Photoshop. Do we need a forum for manipulation and a forum for touchup? How does that differ from brushes? Trying to come up with a clear layout and I do not know everything, so I ran into a wall in that area. Big Grin

Appreciate the feedback.
