|
|
I have used Photoshop for years for web work, thus photos have been 72dpi. A magazine wants a photo at 300dpi. I can handle that. Here is my probably dumb question. I don't print much from Photoshop, but I notice the print size of a photo is much smaller than the screen size. So if they want, say, a 4x6 photo, do I have to pay attention to Photoshop's print size (in which case the photo will be huge)? Or does that not relate to how they publish and can I send my nice 4x6 photo.
I hope I'm being clear! :-p |

Hi oldcat,
Yes I'd say create your document at 6x4 but make sure you have the resolution set at 300ppi. This will turn out to be a huge document ( when viewed on screen).
Hope that helps _________________ Matt

Thanks, Matt! I'll send them a sample doing it that way. |
