Every time I open an image lately I've been getting an overall slice indicator around the whole image. This causes problems when I try to hide grids or selections I sometimes have to hit command H twice, sometimes I don't, depending if it's showing or not when I use that shortcut
Is there something to keep it from being there or a way to delete it, I can only find a way to delete them after new ones are created using the slice tool. |

Hi ljk,
You can go to VIEW>SHOW>and then unchecking SLICES. That should hide your slices. About deleting slices, I'm not very sure besides, like you said, selecting them and deleting one by one. |

I've gone to view and checked that and it pops back up each time I hide guides or selections.
This is not a slice I've made, it's there when I open the file (it's like slice of the whole image) and when I try to delete it DELETE is grayed out, it can't be deleted only made not to show.
Any way right now they aren't showing up at all again. I was thinking I must have hit something that put me in the slice tool or something, cant figger it out. (shrug) |
