Guys i want to use some brushes but they are all sort of shaded out, i cant click on them and sellect. How can i fix that?

At what point are you trying to use these brushes?
on a blank canvas, or over a layer or what? and also what kind of image is it?
CYMK, RGB. . . ?

You need to have the right tool selected. Make sure you've got the Brush tool out. I try to open the brush editor while I've got a marquee tool out all the time.

Ok ill try that guys thanks, im trying to add some sparcle to a text ... i think i didnt have the actual brush tool selected...ill try that tonight >.<

If you're trying to apply brush strokes to a text layer, that won't work. Text is made of what we call "vector images"--the computer thinks of text in terms of mathematically defined curves, not in terms of pixels. This means that text can be scaled up and down without losing quality, but it also means you cannot perform operations on it that strictly involve pixels. No brushing, blurring, filters, etc. To do that, you have to rasterize the text layer. Click the text layer you want to rasterize, then go Layer>Text>Rasterize. The layer's icon will no longer be a black T; it will be a normal thumbnail. You can no longer edit the actual text of that layer because it has been converted to pixels. However, you can do all the brushing you want.
Maybe you already knew all this. I just wanted to make sure I was covering all the bases.

Or, alternatively, you could just right click the text layer and select rasterize, just that little bit quicker
