Hi
I wonder if any of the photoshop pro's can point me in the right direction here ??
OK I basically am looking to reproduce a invoice I have. I have a fairly high quality scan of the said document but I wish to be able to edit / reproduce this document.
I'm using cs4.
I've tried searching google et al, but I'm kinda struggling turning my problem into a searchable phrase.
I have two tabs open one with the logo and tex (scan copy) and a new tab. I first use the square marquee tool to form a box around the logo and then try to copy it across over to the new document - what happens then is the logo appears on the new document but it almost fills the paper (the original copied logo is at most 3cm by 4cm) I try to use scale to scale the logo down but always seems never to fit right. Is there a easier way of doing this ??
also whats the best way to find a font on documents ?
thanks in advance for any directions |

Check the resolution of both images. Obviously one is much larger than the other and they should be the same. Click Image-Image Size and look at the resolution of each.
Change the scan resolution to match the new document, or the other way around. |

I am presuming it is a flat image you are dealing with, making it difficult to determine fonts, you could try the link below but it's a little hit and miss.
