I need to change my hair color to black in a picture. I tried decreasing the saturation to make it black and white but the color is still too light (i have light brown hair). Is there any way I can make it darker or black? |

Hi scotty822, welcome to the forum. I'm pretty sure a picture speaks a thousand words in this case _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Changing color with blend modes works better if the lighter areas have some grey added to them, same with black areas. I'd play around with putting a layer under your hair layer and using a Blend mode to let the gray show through Softlight or Overlay maybe. Then use a new layer on top of those 2 and paint your color and set the Blend mode and adjust the Opacity.
If the layers don't play together well, try merging the 2 hair layers and then use the color layer on top of that. _________________ twitter @4DragonsMedia |
