Hi everyone! Big Grin

Boy am i glad i found these forums. Ive been trying my hand at a few things in photoshop but ive been getting stuck on how i would handle this one in the best way possible.

Ive got a photo in the dimensions of 1280x1052 and i cant set it as my background (centered) without it doing this

Since the star field thickens around the center of the earth i figured i could make a brush in a shape like this

And drop it on higher resolution background, and THEENNN brush in the field but thought some people here could help me better. Ive only watched a few videos on youtube, and read around a little bit so im still a newbie. If anything i said sounded completely off, then it was lol, but im sure you guys get the picture. ;)

Anyways, if someones got some advice, or just wants to try a hand at it, please do! Thank you!

Oh, heres the photo: http://littleimg.com/files/20676_m4sq7/earth02.jpg

I don't understand, do you want the globe in the center and the stars to be cloned. to full screen ?

I would venture that as surmised the stars are to be cloned/repeated to a larger background.

The way you were going to do it seems the most logical ZaxOnEarth.
