The tutorial on how to warp fabrics using the Squizz plug-in, Im having trouble understanding, first how do I fill the new layer with the pattern? I am scanning small samples of fabric about 6" x 8" and need to scale the fabric first to match to the same scale as the sofa, correct?
I guess what I am asking is if someone could interpret this tutorial, so a beginner can understand.
Having basic problems getting everything to work the same as how they show in the tutorial. Many thanks

I dont have this filter, but it looks like you just put the fabric in a layer (drag the fabric image into the sofa image with the black arrow tool)
then with the fabric layer selected you can use the "Pattern Maker" filter in the filters menu to "Fill" the fabric layer,
then still with the fabric layer selected launch the "Squizz" filter and enter in the peramiters as shown in the tutorial, or just play around with them till you like the results. _________________ For great Photoshop tutorials and freebies, check out www.iammrknowitall.com |

Thanks Salvadore., that worked using the pattern filter to fill in the layer, btw in CS4 that filter is left out, but I DL from Adobe.
Maybe I should move my Squizz problem to a different form index on this subject matter. |
