When i select the history brush, i keep getting this message.

'Could not use the art history brush because the current canvas size does not match that of the history state'

Can someone tell me what that means & how to fix the problem

(I'm sorry this is such a belated reply.)
I'm afraid that it means what it says:you cannot go further back than the crop which you have presumably performed, as that is now the size of the image. The answer is to crop later.
