See image below....I'd like to know if someone can recommend the quickest way to drop a shadow underneath the pickup truck. Thanks!

Draw roughly around the outside shape of the truck, unless you have a convenient mask shape already (can't tell how you produce images).

Offset the shadow/shape by (for example) 45 degrees to the bottom right, or any direction that you think would be most suitable to the scene.

Probably have to change the blend mode to or at least alter the opacity. If you have a predefined selection for the shape fill with black and change the blend mode to overlay or something suitable.
