Hi mate, sorry if I posting in the wrong section! Can you tell me (or link me a video) to show me how can I make this type of effect on a picture! Colour background and still make everything visable (I m reffering to the yellow thing on the picture) ...

Draw a rectangular marquee, fill it with yellow and set the opacity of the layer to around 50%.
